Maguila's brain is donated to the Biobank for Aging Studies (BAS)

The brain of former boxer José Adilson Rodrigues dos Santos, known as Maguila, was donated to the Biobank fof Aging Studies (BAS) at the University of São Paulo’s Medical School, managed by GEROLAB. Maguila publicly revealed his diagnosis of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in 2018.
